Lilium ‘Tigrinum Splendens’ has orange flowers covered with black spots.
Lilies are Perennials and are native to the Northern Hemisphere. They are among the oldest cultivated plants and there are around eighty different Lilium species. Old Fashioned & Specie Lilies have large, freckled pendulous flowers with recurved petals. These varieties have a long blooming period and produce 10-20 flowers per stem, great for beds and borders.
Lilies require good drainage and organic material in the soil. Lilies are never completely dormant, leave the bulbs undisturbed in the ground for many years.
