Mirabilis ‘Jalapa’ is an impressive blend of outstanding colors.
Original habitat in tropical South-America, therefore hardy in zones 7-10 . Mirabilis common name is 'Four O' Clocks' since the the fragrant flowers open up around four o' clock or late in the afternoon.
Blooming time Summer to Fall, flowers grow in clusters of one to several flowers. Butterflies and hummingbirds pollinate the flowers. Plant preferably in full sun in moist well drained soil. Great for borders, beds, containers and cottage gardens.
