Description
Tulipa Rembrandt 'Mix’ is an impressive blend of outstanding colors.
Rembrandt Tulips were very popular, their origin was the Darwin Tulips, the colors of which were modified by several kinds of viruses. Fantastic prices were paid for these tulips in the 17th. and 18th. Century. Rembrandt Tulips are often depicted in old painting.
Tulips are hardy and like other bulbs, easy to grow in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. The blooms last longer in partial shade locations. The tulips can be planted in Fall when the soil temperature falls below 55F to make sure they root well. The best planting time is when the night time temperatures are between 40-50F. For best results, tulips need approximate 12 weeks of temperatures below 50F.
